2015 AMP Release Notes

Overview

AMP has four major releases a year (Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall). However, SSB BART Group embraces an agile development approach. This means that every two weeks, we will be updating AMP with improvements and bug fixes. This document is designed to keep our users informed of what improvements and bug fixes are being made available.

December 2, 2015

  • Squashed Bugs
    • Fixed an issue where editing a module would reset the testing status
    • Fixed an issue where Excel reports would fail for large reports

 

November 17, 2015

  • Added the ability to emulate an iPhone 6 browser when performing a spider with an AMP Test
    • This allows users to spider their mobile and responsive design sites
  • Enhanced the Organization Testing Control load time
    • Enhanced at the Administration and Report level
  • Enhanced the Excel Report views by using the relevant report view name vs. a generic file name for the resulting .XLS.
  • Enhanced the Add Modules dialog UI by re-locating the more/less buttons
  • Updated our MSA
  • Squashed Bugs
    • Fixed an issue where users with viewer access to a project were listed as editors on the project reports
    • Fixed an issue where switching the technology platform on a report broke the use cases UI
    • Fixed an issue where passing a violation instance with the AMP Toolbar for Firefox caused an error message
    • Fixed an issue where scheduled test assigned a random tester for the resulting report modules

November 5, 2015

  • Manual Testing Tree Enhancement
    • Removed the pass button from the manual checklist and the Global checklist to avoid confusion
  • Squashed Bugs
    • Fixed and issue where the '/' character in a module name caused a corrupted XLS file when exporting to an Excel report
    • Fixed an issue where the "Show Advance" link on project and report permissions was not working
    • Fixed an issue where the 'Make it happen' button was not working for 'Add Instance' on a report module
    • Fixed an issue where pagination was not working correctly on report views
    • Added enhanced file type validation for report attachments
    • Fixed an issue where HTML markup was being displayed in ruleset descriptions
    • Fixed an issue where editing report standards did not apply changes

October 21, 2015

  • Enhanced Project Permissions
    • AMP project permissions have recently undergone a similar enhancement to the recent AMP report permissions
    • This effort also addressed a defect where AMP Project Notifications were also sent to the person controlling permissions in addition to the invitees

    • AMP for Mobile has been updated to support XCode 7 and Android Studio

  • Squashed Bugs
    • Fixed an issue where == in a module description or note would cause the Excel report to fail

 

October 6, 2015

  • Enhanced Report Permissions
    • We have now condensed the old Publish Report, Permissions and Share dialog into one unified and easy to use permissions dialog
    • This effort also addressed a defect where AMP Report Notifications were also sent to the person controlling permissions in addition to the invitees
